Information You Submit
Search forms send the name, phone number, or address you enter to the outside provider that returns the sponsored results. We do not retain a separate copy of those searches on our servers. A message sent to us contains only the details you choose to provide, and we use them to answer.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems create standard logs that may contain an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. Aggregate patterns help us maintain the site and see which resources visitors use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where applicable.
How We Use Information
These limited data support site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We neither sell a visitor list nor create individual user profiles.
Links to Other Websites
Links lead to Stanislaus County and California government portals, library collections, and outside search tools. Information submitted after following a link is controlled by that destination's privacy policy. The same applies to sponsored search results supplied by a third party.
When Information Is Shared
Hosting and support vendors process server logs for us. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We may also disclose information when valid legal process requires it, but do not otherwise share visitor data.
Protecting Visitor Information
An encrypted connection serves the site. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for the stated purposes. Because the site has no user accounts, it holds no visitor password or account profile.
Users Under 18
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Contact us if a minor submitted information so it can be removed.
Your California Privacy Rights
The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, may give residents rights to know, delete, correct, or limit certain uses of personal information, along with opt-out and nondiscrimination rights. Because we retain little data, a request generally involves checking contact messages and server logs. Submit one through the Contact page. Records held by Stanislaus County, California agencies, courts, or other custodians remain outside our control and must be addressed with the holder.
Changes to This Policy
A revised version will appear here when the policy changes. Continued use after publication indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
